Seattle-based AliveCor is unveiling a new iPhone 4 app that turns the device into a hospital-quality ECG. The unit, which is being introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Mid-January, can be used to monitor heart conditions and pacemakers, alert users of atrial fibrillation and e-mail the results. The unit, along with the app are now being tested for FDA approval.
