As the panic-inducing Gulf oil spill enters its third month, St. Pete/Clearwater asked BVK to help stave off a summer of economic disaster by convincing travelers its pristine beaches are still untarnished and open for business. In combination with radio and TV spots (and live camera beach footage on the SP/C website), this print campaign delivers the “NO OIL” message with elegant simplicity and style. Showing the clean beaches required six 12-hour days of aerial and ground-level photography. As of this writing—still no oil.
