BVK Miami is seeking a skilled Public Relations and Social Media Account Executive – a strategic thinker and social media savvy individual with successful experience in developing, implementing and managing a wide range of marketing campaigns for a variety of clients / brands.

Job Description:

The Account Executive will understand how PR, social media and promotions powerfully impact the brand experience for consumers. A savvy and energetic communicator, you should be well-grounded in strategic public relations, social media strategies, crisis strategy and management, monitoring and measurement, as well as possess a deep understanding of the wider role of public relations and how to powerfully integrate earned media strategies with the overall marketing mix. We are seeking an energetic professional who has incredible attention to detail and is able to manage programs and campaigns that touch multiple areas of the full-service agency.

Job Qualifications:

This position requires fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English.

The PR and Social Media Account Executive is a strategic thinker who can write effective plans, understand how social media and PR tools are used to listen, build ideas, communicate and engage with influencers, change attitudes and build brand movements.

We require 3-5 years of relevant / account, public relations, crisis communications (especially in social media realm) and media relations experience with at least three years in an agency setting.

This position will report directly to the VP of Account Services but will work with all internal and remote team leads on projects if and as needed.

Must have working knowledge of agency services – media, account services, promotions and digital.

In addition to managing tasks with clients, the incumbent will be expected to take a hands-on role with team assignments at times, from vendor communication and coordination, to writing, to posting, to working with media and monitoring tools and client communication.

This position also requires excellent understanding and experience with social media platforms, monitoring and the importance of analytics and reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, business / marketing or relevant degree. Professional memberships in public relations organizations, social media associations, past experience with news media also preferred.

Be able to lead projects and communicate to internal and remote stakeholders, oversee website content and uploads, employ new technologies to help bring efficiencies, manage implementation of PR & social media plans, write and / or translate web content, posts and tweets, as well as feature articles, blogs, news releases, media advisories and speeches.

Maintain integrity of our agency work and PR, branding and social media efforts.
