Overview
BVK is seeking an SEO expert to manage search engine optimization for our clients and coordinate with our SEM and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all SEO activities including content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search engines. This opportunity is located in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals, including potential solutions for content curation
- Provide SEO analysis and recommendations for technical optimization of websites and pages
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects
- Develop and guide link building campaigns in coordination with SEO goals
- Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments
- Leverage web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
- Communicate to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links
- Advance strategic thinking on how we can improve our processes and services to achieve our client’s SEO goals

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Experience working with WordPress CMS and building/administering content in CMS environments
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- BS/BA degree preferred
