Gonzalo Gonzalez

Managing Partner, Miami

What role do you play as part of BVK Leadership?

I see myself as the conductor of a multinational, multicultural creative orchestra based in Miami. My role is fundamentally motivating and guiding our team members to give their best.

What do you think makes BVK unique as an agency/why do you choose to work at BVK?

love the horizontality of our creative approach, always recognizing that a great idea can come from any team member. This collaborative spirit makes working at BVK feel like a startup, with an entrepreneurship atmosphere where independence, mobility and constructive competitiveness thrive.

What unique perspective or talent or interest or experience do you bring to the agency and how does it add value to your leadership and client work?

My experience brings global perspective to the agency, having worked on three continents, with clients from many different categories. When an agency is able to understand, appreciate, and most importantly, utilize cultural insights to validate its work, the results are really powerful.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to any client?

Neutrality. In today’s changing times it’s important to keep an open-mind attitude when planning and performing advertising. We are humans, so it’s almost impossible not to be biased. But if we are aware of this weakness and try to maintain a neutral approach when evaluating ideas, new, fresh and successful executions will arise.
