How to Get Insurance Enrollment on a Roll
Healthcare

To encourage more people to sign up with the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange, BVK took their message to the streets–creating a whole new vehicle for enrollment. Literally. A 16-seat pedal car, staffed by New Mexico Health Care Guides, insurance agents and brokers, hit the streets of Albuquerque encouraging New Mexicans to get health care, while getting healthy. They called themselves The Insurance Pedal-ers. And by the end of their 8-hour enrollment drive, they talked to over 2,200 New Mexicans, and created a media frenzy around the effort. An effort which helped increase web traffic 24%. In the end, over 34,000 people got on board with plans though the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange and nearly 100,000 discovered that they were eligible for and signed up for Medicaid.
