BVK Creates “Monumental Occasion” for Funjet

In an effort to penetrate a new market, Funjet Vacations turned to BVK to create an exciting experiential campaign in Baltimore, Maryland. The challenge was to create one-on-one connections and increase brand awareness, while simultaneously driving interested travelers to book trips with partner travel agencies. The Monumental Occasion took place during Baltimore’s annual lighting of the Washington Monument and fireworks show, and included a tropical-colored branded Christmas tree, colorful giveaway items and promotional cards with travel discounts. The event drew 7,500 consumers. In conjunction with online efforts, the campaign drew 2.2 million impressions on integrated channels such as local television, promotional posters, promotional emails and social media networks.
