BVK proudly announces being selected as the new Public Relations Agency of Record (AOR) for Verlo Mattress.

Verlo, an innovative sleep products company with a passion for providing its consumers with personalized sleep systems, is owned by Marcus Investments, a Marcus Family company based in Milwaukee. The Marcus Family is a controlling stakeholder in The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS).

BVK has been tapped to strengthen Verlo’s efforts and brand awareness within the company’s Southeastern Wisconsin home market and nationwide.

“As a company that is driven by direct-to-consumer relationships, establishing a partnership with BVK is a natural fit,” said Kathy Thornton-Bias, president and chief operating officer of Verlo Mattress. “We are confident that BVK’s knowledge and efforts in the earned media space will propel Verlo’s brand reach to the next level as we continue to elevate our commitment to continuous growth, product innovation and an unparalleled customer experience.”

Verlo recently celebrated the grand opening of the company’s new store in Wauwatosa, Wis., which is being operated as part of The Mayfair Collection.

“We’re incredibly proud to work with a successful hometown company like Verlo,” said Sara Meaney, managing director at BVK. “BVK’s depth of experience in public relations strategy and management makes us the perfect match for a company that is positioned to break into a crowded national earned media space. Our team has the passion, skills, and tools to make it happen.”

In addition to the new store in Wauwatosa, Verlo has locations nationwide and a strong footprint in its home state Wisconsin.
